The Marina Bay Street Circuit is a floodlit street track around downtown Singapore that hosted Formula 1's first ever night race in 2008. Run under roughly 1,600 custom floodlights against the city skyline, it is one of the most physically demanding events on the calendar due to heat and humidity. A 2023 revision cut the layout to 19 corners, and the circuit holds more than 90,000 spectators.
